This 48-bed inpatient psychiatric facility, provides high-quality mental health care through two specialized units--one for adults, another for seniors. The compassionate staff works as a team to help patients and their families handle specific issues of mental illness and promote the best possible quality of life.
Adult Unit Includes Dual Diagnosis Treatment
The unit treats patients with a variety of disorders, including dual diagnosis (chemical dependence as a secondary illness). The treatment team uses a multi-disciplinary approach including individual, group, and family therapy in a nurturing and safe environment. The goal always is to help patients return as soon as possible to less restrictive lifestyles.
Seniors Unit
Designed for older adults suffering from mental illnesses that keep them from participating in the normal activities of daily living, the unit provides symptom-specific treatment. Medical, social, behavioral and pharmacological interventions may be used. Family involvement is encouraged, and our treatment plans are designed to help patients and their families deal with the stresses of aging. We help families learn to care for seniors and the issues they face.
