Palmetto General Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has highly trained physicians and nurses in critical care, technologically advanced equipment and specialized life-support systems to monitor patients who are in critical condition following serious surgeries. Our Intensive Care Unit is monitored 24 hours a day by our dedicated staff members to help ensure that all patients receive high-quality care.

We also provide post-operative care to help ease our patients’ transitions from intensive care to step-down units.
