The caring, compassionate pediatricians and nurses at Palmetto General Hospital are dedicated to promoting children’s health and preventing diseases. They work collaboratively to provide the best-possible care for children at our Pediatric Unit and Pediatric Emergency Room. But we do more than care for kids. We care about their families, too.

Our Pediatric Unit is staffed and equipped to handle many pediatric specialties.  Because we understand the anxiety children and their families sometimes experience during hospital stays, our unit is cheerfully decorated and run by an outstanding team of caregivers who know how to make our patients and their loved ones feel comfortable.

Pediatric Emergency Room

The staff members at our Pediatric Emergency Department provide a resource for parents who need emergency medical care for their children. This center runs parallel to our adult Emergency Department and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
